The flowering crabapple can reach heights from 10 to 25 feet. They may take various forms, however some may be mounded and shrublike. Most grow moderately slow, about 10 inches per year. Some trees may bloom heavily only every other year. The crabapple produces a small fruit, usually less than 2 inches in diameter.
